Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is recruiting for a Maintenance Operative on behalf of a local business in Sheffield. The role is full-time and permanent, focusing on hands-on maintenance, repairs and site upkeep to keep the site safe and well-maintained.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and carry out basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry work. The package includes a salary of £28,000 per year and a rotating shift pattern, with training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, facilities or building maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform repairs.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Flexibility to rotate shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs to building services.
• General building maintenance and repairs, incl. basic plumbing and electrical tasks.
• Maintain records of maintenance and inspections.
• Support safety checks and site inductions.
