Job summary

E3recruitment is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer based in Sheffield. The role focuses on planned maintenance, inspections, service and repairs across the site, with additional welding and fabrication duties.

You will support process improvements and drive proactive and reactive maintenance to keep the factory running at peak performance. The position offers a base salary of £47,846 per year plus bonus and overtime, with dayshift hours from 10am to 6pm (Fri 8am-4pm).

Qualifications

Recognised Engineering qualifications as listed: Advanced Apprenticeship and/or Level 3 NVQ in Engineering with BTEC Level 3 or above, City & Guilds in Engineering/Craft studies 1-2 & 3.
Demonstrable knowledge and expertise in PPM and reactive maintenance on Industrial Plant & Equipment.
High degree of Health & Safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance, Inspections, Service and Repairs.
Welding and Fabrication skillset.
Support process improvement throughout the factory.
Responsible for plant-wide proactive and reactive mechanical maintenance activities to ensure optimum site performance.
