Job summary

The Cambian Group is seeking a Maintenance Operative to maintain the safety, cleanliness and upkeep of our school premises. You will handle domestic repairs, site maintenance projects, and ensure compliance with relevant standards across the facility.

So you will manage a workload, coordinate with the Regional Facilities Manager on larger projects, and contribute to a well-kept environment for staff and students. 40 hours/week, salary up to £26,500.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or facilities upkeep preferred.
• Ability to perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Record-keeping and reporting duties expected.

Responsibilities

• Ensure premises are safe, clean, hygienic and in good repair.
• Maintain up-to-date records and generate site-related reports.
• Participate in audits of the quality system as required.
• Inspect areas and coordinate with contractors to meet standards.
• Ensure compliance with national regulations and inspection standards.
