Job summary

BGIS invite applications for a Building Services Engineer role in Greater London. You will carry out PPM tasks and reactive/breakdown works on all M&E systems, with the ability to fault-find using alarm data and BMS trends.

You will also supervise subcontractors, manage Permit to Work procedures, maintain spares, and ensure all required documentation is completed promptly while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on all mechanical & electrical plant.
• Respond to reactive and breakdown works and document actions.
• Supervise sub-contractors and approve work on site.
• Operate Permit to Work system per BGIS QA and client requirements.
• Fault find and rectify plant faults to keep equipment in service.
• Maintain spares and provide parts lists and timescales.
• Ensure paperwork for reactive/breakdown works is completed promptly.
• Prepare and use Method Statements and Risk Assessments for tasks.
• Monitor and report KPIs/SLA's and ensure safety compliance.
• Oversee BMS to maintain acceptable internal environmental conditions.
