Job summary

BGIS UK & Europe is seeking a Site Mechanical Engineer to maintain critical BMS-controlled environmental conditions and perform regular PPM and reactive works on M&E plant near London Bridge. You will fault-find on HVAC, UPS, generators and LV systems, using alarm data and graphical information, with strict adherence to H&S and permit-to-work procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with M&E plant maintenance and site PPM schedules.
• Knowledge of air conditioning, UPS, generators and LV systems.
• Ability to fault-find using alarm data and graphical information.
• Experience supervising subcontractors on-site and ensuring safe operation.
• Familiarity with Permit to Work procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine PPM to all mechanical & electrical plant.
• Perform reactive tasks and provide proactive improvements.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure safe operation during repairs.
• Operate Permit to Work system per BGIS procedures.
• Record faults, parts and times for remediation.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and close out tickets in Maximo.
