Clear Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee on-site logistics for a major Blyth project in the UK. The role requires coordinating deliveries, materials handling, site access, and storage in line with the project programme and safety standards.

The successful candidate will have 5–7 years of logistics experience in construction or engineering, with a strong focus on data centre or mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in relevant field.
• 5–7 years in logistics within construction/engineering.
• Extensive site logistics management on large-scale projects (data centre preferred).
• Knowledge of traffic management and material handling.
• Strong organizational, planning, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Knowledge of health & safety requirements related to site logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all site logistics activities across the project lifecycle.
• Develop and implement site logistics plans aligned with project needs.
• Coordinate deliveries, material handling and site movements for efficiency.
• Manage site access, traffic management, and security per safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors and suppliers to align with the programme.
• Monitor and control storage areas to keep materials safe and organized.
• Manage logistics subcontractors including performance tracking.
• Maintain on-site logistics documentation, permits and safety records.
• Attend site, planning and logistics coordination meetings.
• Identify and mitigate logistical risks and site constraints.
• Support the project team in maintaining a safe working environment.
• Prepare and issue logistics reports to project team and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety regulations.
• Proactively resolve logistics and coordination issues on site.
