Jones Engineering Group in London is seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager to lead the mechanical construction delivery of a major Data Centre and Mission Critical project. You will own the mechanical scope from mobilisation through to mechanical completion, commissioning and handover, coordinating with Electrical, CSA and Commissioning teams on a fast-paced site.

The role requires senior leadership, strong practical knowledge of cooling systems, BMS interfaces and extensive subcontractor

Qualifications

Significant experience in Mechanical Construction Management within Data Centres or Mission Critical environments.
Strong practical knowledge of data centre mechanical and cooling systems.
Experience delivering chilled water and/or glycol cooling systems.
Experience with CRAHs, AHUs, pumps, pipework and associated mechanical plant.
Strong understanding of BMS and controls interfaces.

Responsabilités

Lead mechanical construction delivery of the project.
Manage mechanical subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
Coordinate with Electrical and CSA teams to manage interfaces and prevent clashes.
Ensure mechanical installations progress safely, to quality and in line with programme.
Develop and manage construction sequences, look-ahead programmes and resource plans.
Support commissioning and IST readiness on mechanical systems.
