Job summary

Randstad UK's CPE Team is seeking a Site Labourer for a residential project in Wantage. The role focuses on keeping the site safe, tidy, and efficient to support tradespeople on schedule.

The successful candidate will have a valid CSCS card, full PPE, and prior experience on a residential new-build site, with eligibility to work in the UK. This is a temporary/ongoing contract position based in Wantage.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintaining site cleanliness and debris removal for a safe working environment.

• Pay Rate: £16.50 – £17.50 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Labourer to support a busy residential construction site in Wantage. This is a vital role ensuring the site remains safe, tidy, and efficient to allow skilled trades to meet their deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining site cleanliness and clearing debris to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assisting skilled trades (bricklayers, carpenters, etc.) with the movement of materials.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Basic site setup and fencing/signage maintenance.
• Adhering strictly to site Health & Safety protocols and Wearing full PPE at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid CSCS card.
• Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis vest/jacket, steel toe-cap boots).
• Previous experience on a residential new-build site.
