Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Team Leader for Unity Lab Services to oversee on-site operations at customer facilities. You will supervise a small team of specialists and manage inventory, procurement, lab safety, and materials handling while collaborating with researchers and customers to meet service level agreements and drive improvements.

The role requires leadership, GMP/GLP awareness, strong communication, and the ability to develop staff while delivering compliant, reliable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of leadership experience supervising teams in a laboratory or service environment.
• Experience in GMP/GLP regulated environments preferred.
• Strong project management and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated success in customer relationship management.
• Knowledge of chemical handling, hazardous materials, and lab safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse cross-functional team of on-site lab specialists.
• Oversee employee lifecycle management including training needs and evaluations.
• Assist with production runs and monitor equipment performance and maintenance.
• Maintain cGMP documentation, SOP adherence, and safety compliance.
• Manage SAP inventory, procure materials, and conduct site audits.
• Identify growth opportunities and present capability reviews to sales teams.
• Support process improvement initiatives and represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at customer sites.
• Work hours Monday-Friday 8-4:30 pm; overtime as needed.
