Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an on-site supervisor to lead a small team at customer locations. You will manage lab supplies, inventory, and cross-functional coordination, ensuring adherence to contractual scope and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and hands-on experience with lab environments and SAP-based systems. Occasional forklift operation and driving may be required.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervisory abilities are required; coach and develop staff.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer interaction.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office; basic SAP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a small team of on-site personnel and ensure high levels of service.
• Order lab supplies, chemicals and consumables; manage stockroom and track lot numbers/expiry dates.
• Use Thermo Fisher systems and SAP for ordering and inventory management; coordinate on-site operations.
• Develop SOPs, conduct site inspections, and participate in safety programs and performance reviews.
