Job summary

Wood is recruiting for an Instrumentation Lead (Discipline Construction Lead) on a 12-month contract based at the Teesside project site office in Redcar, United Kingdom. Occasional travel to Paris EPC design offices and other EPC facilities may be required.

The role is full-time, site-based with Mon-Fri working pattern and possible overtime aligned to EPC schedules. Lead instrumentation construction activities, coordinate with EPC and PCC contractors, and ensure safety, quality, and readiness

Qualifications

• Responsibilities include overseeing instrumentation construction activities executed by EPC and PCC Contractors.
• Role requires leadership to ensure safety, quality, and constructability of instrumentation works.

Responsibilities

• Health and Safety oversight on site.
• Installation of instruments, containment, cables, punching, testing and energisation.
• Turnover through to Mechanical Completion and Client Handover.
• Coordinate with EPC Discipline Instrumentation Leads and Equipment Leads.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications, project specifications, safety standards and quality requirements.
