Wood is recruiting for an Instrumentation Lead (Discipline Construction Lead) on a 12-month contract based at the Teesside project site office in Redcar, United Kingdom. Occasional travel to Paris EPC design offices and other EPC facilities may be required.
The role is full-time, site-based with Mon-Fri working pattern and possible overtime aligned to EPC schedules. Lead instrumentation construction activities, coordinate with EPC and PCC contractors, and ensure safety, quality, and readiness
Wood is currently recruiting for a Instrumentation Lead (Discipline Construction Lead) on a 12 contract basis. The role will be based on Teesside at the project site office at Redcar. If required, you will be expected to conduct occasional travel to EPC contractor’s design offices in Paris and potential EPC Contractor facilities in the UK and overseas.It will be a full-time site-based role with Mon-Fri site working pattern overseeing all construction areas on the project. Limited but regular overtime may be required in keeping with EPC working patterns, which may change through the life of the project.

The Role
As the Instrumentation Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all instrumentation construction activities executed by the EPC and PCC Contractors. This includes, but is not limited to:
The role will involve close coordination with EPC engineering teams and site contractors through installation, turnover, testing, mechanical completion, and handover.
