Job summary

WSP in Leeds is recruiting a Principal Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation Engineer to support the AMP8 water programme. You will deliver EICA design inputs for infrastructure projects, review technical specifications, and lead tender evaluations alongside a multidisciplinary team.

You'll apply your Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, extensive EICA experience for water assets, and knowledge of DSEAR/CDM to ensure safe, compliant systems from concept through commissioning

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical or control engineering with relevant accreditation (IET).
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status preferred by Engineering Council.
• Extensive experience designing EICA for water infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EICA design inputs for water infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, calculations, datasheets, schedules, and control philosophies.
• Review tender evaluations and participate in proposals and scoping of work.
