Job summary

Sweco UK Ltd in Leeds is seeking a Site Field Engineer to support the Asset Management Business Unit. The role requires hands-on delivery across ICA projects, with daily site travel to multiple locations.

You will assist with technical delivery to meet time, cost and quality targets, provide input on Operational Technology projects, and help produce design deliverables while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications or apprenticeship training.
• Instrumentation and process control background with knowledge of Control and Automation systems.
• Experience supervising ICA/System Integrator contractors on multiple projects, incl. water/wastewater.
• Experience preparing and reviewing design documentation.
• Experience preparing and reviewing scoping documentation for ICA and telemetry equipment/services.
• Recognises sustainability, life-cycle costs, carbon, performance and risks.
• Strong client relationship skills for future opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication adaptable to audiences.
• A relevant degree, HND or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Attend internal project start-up meetings.
• Provide technical perspectives for delivery phases.
• Produce design deliverables for optimum engineering solutions.
• Deliver ICA projects and telemetry equipment/services.
• Assess, document and communicate design changes to the PM.
• Participate in technical reviews.
• Check design outputs before submission for approval.
• Attend internal project review meetings.
• Provide technical input for continuous improvement feedback.
