Job summary

WSP is seeking Senior/Principal ICA Engineers to join its Regulated Water Asset Design team in the UK, delivering ICA design across the full project lifecycle for water, wastewater, and industrial projects. You will work within a multidisciplinary environment with visibility across major projects and the UK water sector.

You will take ownership of technical delivery, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to shape delivery and outcomes across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering ICA design across project lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of control systems and electrical integration.
• Experience preparing and reviewing detailed engineering deliverables.
• Familiarity with DSEAR and CDM standards.
• Experience supporting commissioning, testing and FAT activities.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder skills.
• Collaborative yet capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to ICA design across projects.
• Prepare specifications, calculations, reports and datasheets.
• Develop user requirements and system architectures.
• Support feasibility studies and optioneering.
• Assist with tender evaluations and bid activities.
• Participate in testing, commissioning and FAT.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Build relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers where appropriate.
