Gousto is seeking a Hygiene Team Lead to guide daily cleaning operations and maintain exceptional safety standards within a busy food production site in Warrington. You will bridge communication between hygiene, operations and technical teams to ensure audit readiness and drive continuous improvement across the site.

You will coordinate daily cleaning schedules, lead root-cause analysis and manage hygiene-related training, while supporting planned maintenance and pest control activities.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading teams in a workplace.
• Knowledge of hygiene, safety and cleaning standards in manufacturing.
• Strong communication to share updates across departments.
• Familiarity with document control and safety records.
• Proficiency with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
• Experience with Google Workspace tools.

Responsabilités

• Guide and coordinate the Hygiene team to complete cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Establish risk-based hygiene systems and cleaning instruction cards across areas and equipment.
• Deliver and coordinate hygiene and safety training for team members.
• Plan and manage hygiene schedules to maintain high site standards.
• Support the engineering team during planned maintenance schedules.
• Lead internal and external hygiene audits and close out corrective actions.
• Manage chemical stock levels, cleaning equipment, and issue purchase orders.
• Ensure hygiene activities comply with Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines.
• Oversee pest control, debriefs, and maintain the action tracker.
• Act as primary contact for third-party cleaning providers to ensure site standards.
