Job summary

Gousto is hiring a Quality Assurance Lead to plan and coordinate a busy QA team on site in Warrington. You will mentor staff, drive quality culture, and oversee audits of production processes to ensure only high-quality materials enter our boxes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage non-conformances, and contribute to QMS improvements while supporting safety initiatives across shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven Background: QA experience in fast-paced Food/E-commerce/Manufacturing environments.
• Technical Knowledge: HACCP, BRC, GMP standards and auditing experience.
• Leadership & Collaboration: capable of supervising a shift-based team.
• Problem-solving: detail-oriented, able to work under pressure.
• Tech Savvy: proficient with Email, Excel, and Word.
• Communication: strong verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the QA team’s daily roadmap and mentor staff through regular 1-to-1s, reviews, and rota management.
• Collaborate with production to embed a visit-ready, every day mindset and participate in audits.
• Direct non-conformance findings and drive corrective actions with department managers.
• Oversee Pick Line Quality Controllers to optimize replenishment and data capture.
• Support Technical System team to update QMS procedures and grow robust processes.
• Coordinate QA requirements for new materials, shelf-life reviews, and trial activities.
• Champion site health, safety, and environmental continuous improvements.
