Job summary

Premier Foods Andover is seeking a Site Services Operator to support hygiene, cleaning, and maintenance across the site. The role reports to the Site Services Supervisor and involves helping maintain hygiene standards to meet legislation and customer requirements.

The position emphasizes following SOPs, chemical safety (COSHH), and safe working practices, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement in hygiene. A proactive approach to waste and pest control is also implied.

Qualifications

• Follow SOPs and safe systems of work.
• Knowledge of COSHH / MSDS requirements and associated risks.
• Encourage a culture of high site hygiene standards, leading by example.
• Demonstrate safe operating practices in areas of responsibility.
• Encourage a culture that reduces accidents and near misses.

Responsibilities

• Undertake specialist cleaning activities to drive improvement in site standards.
• Identify, record and communicate areas of risk relating to Health and Safety, Food Safety, and Operational Performance, whilst completing cleaning activities.
• Complete records of cleaning activities in a timely manner for due diligence.
• Support efficient operation and control of all resources in cleaning activities.
• Act as a clear role model, demonstrating the behavioural standards expected of employees.
