Samworth Brothers is seeking a Skilled Hygiene Operative to join our hygiene team in Melton Mowbray. You will help keep the site clean, safe and compliant, and support food safety. This is a hands-on role with routine tasks and no production line work.

You will work with a collaborative team, following clear instructions, and have opportunities for training and development as part of the Samworth family.

Qualifications

• Experience in hygiene or food production.
• Good eye for detail and focus on cleanliness.
• Ability to follow clear instructions and routines.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Clean factory areas, machines and equipment after production.
• Safely dismantle and reassemble machinery for cleaning.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and follow hygiene rules.
• Fill in cleaning sheets and records.
• Report damage, spills, or safety issues.
• Help prepare site for checks and audits.
