Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland's Infrastructure Segment is recruiting an experienced Project Safety Advisor to support the delivery of a new energy infrastructure scheme in Peterhead. This site-based role is pivotal in delivering world-class H&S & wellbeing across the project, collaborating with construction teams, clients and supply chain.

You will drive safety by leading on H&S strategies, developing training, auditing performance, and ensuring compliance with ISO 45001.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of OHSAS 45001 standards.
• IOSH membership and ability to advise on health and safety issues on site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain H&S management system in line with ISO 45001 and contractual requirements.
• Lead on H&S strategies and promote a positive culture of safety.
• Conduct inspections and audits to drive continuous improvement beyond compliance.
• Investigate incidents with robust evidence and remedial action.
• Collaborate with construction teams, client and supply chain on H&S matters.
