Job summary

pladis is seeking an experienced HR business partner to lead the site HR agenda at our Halifax site. you will partner with site leadership to embed a culture of accountability, safety, engagement and performance while building trust with trade unions and driving strategic workforce initiatives.

You will influence line managers, coach leaders and balance commercial needs with people impact, delivering the site HR plan in line with regional priorities and central HR frameworks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading HR strategy at site level.
• Strong union relations and collective bargaining knowledge.
• Capability to drive culture, change and people initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the site HR agenda aligned with regional and global strategies.
• Lead change management and organisation design, workforce planning and restructuring.
• Manage absence, performance coaching and leadership development on the shop floor.
• Oversee union negotiations, engagement, and relationships to ensure workforce stability.
