Job summary

MCR Property Group, in partnership with Flow Student, seeks an experienced General Manager to lead Park Village, Sheffield. This on-site role combines operations, tenancy management and guest services to deliver an exceptional resident experience while driving occupancy and revenue.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will lead on-site teams, maintain compliance, monitor performance, and build relationships with local universities and partners, ensuring safe, well-managed student

Qualifications

• Significant experience in accommodation, property, hospitality or operational management.
• Strong understanding of compliance and operational best practice.
• Proven experience in debt management, credit control and income recovery.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of Park Village day-to-day operations, ensuring safety, maintenance and presentation to a high standard.
• Lead the on-site team (cleaning, maintenance, security) and uphold service standards.
• Conduct audits and reviews, implementing improvements and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate reporting on occupancy, revenue, costs and performance for the site.
• Lead on rent collection and income protection, escalating arrears when needed.
• Provide visible leadership, recruitment, coaching and development for site staff.
