Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a Foreman to join the AMP8 Framework Team, working on site at Affinity Water’s Egham Water Treatment Works. The role focuses on safe, high‑quality delivery of on‑site works and coordinating daily construction activities for the Rapid Gravity Treatment Plant upgrade.

You will lead a site team, manage labour, plant and materials, monitor safety, and report progress to the Site Manager, while ensuring drawings and design information are followed and quality standards are

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to health, safety and wellbeing.
• Experience working in heavy civils/water environments.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, programmes and technical information.
• Proven experience leading teams on a construction site.
• Clear, effective communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe, healthy, inclusive site environment.
• Supervise site workforce and supply chain daily.
• Lead and coordinate site construction activities to programme.
• Manage labour, plant and materials to meet targets.
• Identify and report changes in scope, programme or costs.
• Ensure temporary and permanent works meet designs and quality standards.
• Implement temporary works requirements where applicable.
• Provide progress updates to the Site Manager.
• Maintain up‑to‑date design information and records.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and promote best practice.
• Ensure RAMS, permits and inductions are completed correctly.
• Escalate technical challenges promptly and constructively.
• Maintain robust QA/QC processes.
• Complete detailed daily site records.
