Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a Site Agent to lead delivery on an £60m Severn Trent AMP 8 framework project, overseeing wastewater treatment upgrades, pump stations and a 60km pipeline. The role demands leadership across multiple teams, financial oversight, and strict regulatory compliance.

You will travel across the Packington/Measham region, coordinating with clients, suppliers and subcontractors while ensuring programmes, documentation and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Industry-related qualification (ONC/HNC/B.Eng. or NVQ equivalent)
• Health and safety and construction certifications (IOSH or CITB SMSTS, CSCS card)
• Experience in waste and/or water industries
• Project management principles in construction/engineering
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, CDM and environmental legislation
• Experience in managing project finances (budgeting, cost control)
• Contract management including documentation
• Familiarity with scheduling tools and techniques
• Experience coordinating stakeholders and procurement

Responsibilities

• Oversee project schedules and milestones across multiple sites
• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes with planners
• Identify design/project requirements and provide solutions
• Coordinate resources across internal departments and suppliers
• Manage procurement of equipment, materials and subcontractors
• Lead meetings and monitor progress with documentation and reports
• Conduct site visits to monitor developments and compliance
• Prepare contract documentation and operation manuals per specs
