Job summary
CDM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced H&S Manager for a Middlesbrough-based construction business. You will lead safety on live sites, working with project and site teams to manage RAMS and site safety compliance.
Reporting to the Regional H&S Manager, the role supports a diverse portfolio of projects across the North East, ensuring high standards of safety and regulatory adherence while developing robust safety practices on site.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH Construction qualification expected, with relevant construction experience.
- IOSH membership or equivalent would be advantageous.
- Experience across commercial, residential or general construction.
Responsibilities
- Carry out regular site visits, inspections and audits.
- Provide day-to-day H&S support to site and project teams.
- Review RAMS and construction phase plans.
- Monitor compliance with H&S procedures and legislation.
- Identify potential risks and recommend control measures.
- Assist with incident investigations and follow-up actions.
- Provide practical H&S guidance to site management.
- Support projects with high standards of site safety.
- Assist with H&S reporting and monitoring.
- Contribute to improving H&S procedures across the business.
- Collaborate with Regional H&S Manager on regional initiatives.
