Job summary

CO Home Improvements is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to provide practical health and safety support across multiple locations, including offices, showrooms, customer properties and construction projects. The role involves travel across Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire to promote high standards and legal compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and maintaining health & safety policies and safe systems of work.
• Proven ability to carry out risk assessments, site inspections and audits.
• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and Building Safety Act 2022.
• Experience in preparing CDM documentation, RAMS, COSHH assessments and construction phase plans.
• Ability to deliver H&S training, inductions, toolbox talks and briefings.
• Experience investigating accidents, incidents and near misses and ensuring actions are completed.
• Support RIDDOR reporting and maintain accurate H&S records.
• Assist with accreditations such as CHAS, Constructionline Gold and ISO 9001.
• Provide practical advice to managers and employees.
• Prepare monthly H&S reports and drive continuous improvement across the business.
