Job summary

Kier Group plc is seeking a Site Engineer for the Sizewell C Project in Suffolk. You will provide setting out, engineering control, and technical support for construction activities, ensuring safety, quality and alignment with design and programme.

You will work under the Section Engineer and Sub-Agent to deliver accurate, compliant works in a highly regulated environment, contributing to a major infrastructure programme.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering, Construction or related discipline.
• Experience in civil engineering works including setting out; CSCS card held.
• Good knowledge of survey equipment, AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Clear communication and ability to work with engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Experience in highly regulated/safety-critical environments with strong documentation.

Responsibilities

• Providing and maintaining setting out and dimensional control for site operations.
• Establishing control points, benchmarks and survey records.
• Supporting engineering control of construction activities and temporary works.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and permit requirements.
• Maintaining accurate as-built, survey and setting-out records.
