Job summary

Kier Group in Greater London is seeking a Site Engineer to join the Construction team on site-based projects across education, health and defence sectors. You will establish and maintain setting out, QA records, and support on-site delivery.

The role requires CSCS and SMSTS, and professional registration or progress toward CIOB/ICE, with a track record in site operations. On offer is a challenging, varied role with exposure to major schemes.

Qualifications

• CSCS card and SMSTS certification are required.
• Engineering or related subject qualification is required.
• Progress toward professional body membership (e.g. CIOB, ICE) is expected.
• Demonstrable experience in a site operational role is required.
• Commitment to safety standards and quality in all work aspects is essential.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining setting out and dimensional control to ensure accurate construction.
• Recording and testing workmanship and materials, maintaining accurate quality records.
• Providing engineering support to overcome technical problems and resolve queries.
• Assisting in the preparation of sketches and as-built drawings for site distribution.
• Regularly checking setting out points, benchmarks, and ensuring calibration certificates for equipment.
