Job summary

NRL is seeking an experienced Section Engineer to join a major UK power infrastructure project in the East of England. This site-based role suits a civil engineer skilled in setting-out and engineering control, delivering complex works and ensuring project standards.

You will coordinate site activities, produce reports and maintain digital records, travelling between Bury St Edmunds, Norwich, Bramford and Tilbury.

Qualifications

• Must have a civil engineering background with setting-out experience.
• CSCS card and a recognised Civil Engineering qualification are required.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support safe, successful delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure works.
• Undertake setting out and engineering control duties across multiple fronts.
• Coordinate site engineering activities and provide technical support to crews.
• Ensure QA processes, inspections and documentation meet project standards.
• Produce and manage engineering reports and digital records.
• Support work packages including earthworks, drainage, structures, roads and substations.
• Collaborate with senior team to meet delivery targets and maintain safety.
