Job summary

ARC are recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a major energy infrastructure project in Norwich.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a significant National Grid project, initially for 6 months with the potential for further long-term opportunities.

Key duties include setting out, mentoring juniors, completing ITPs and QA documentation, and resolving technical queries on a live National Grid site while working with site management to deliver safely and accurately.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Civils / Infrastructure Engineering.
• Experience on major projects (utilities, energy, substations) preferred.
• National Grid SR163 competency or willingness to undertake.
• Experience on live sites with permit systems.
• CAT & Genny experience.
• Confined Spaces awareness.
• SMSTS and First Aid advantageous.
• Own equipment preferred; enhanced rates available.

Responsibilities

• General setting out duties.
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers.
• Completing ITPs, QA documentation and technical queries.
• Working closely with site management and project teams.
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and in line with project requirements.
• Working within a live National Grid environment.
