Job summary

RTL Group Ltd in Norwich is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major RC Frame package on a 12-month contract. You will set out, survey and work closely with site management to deliver the reinforced concrete frame works.

The role requires strong setting-out, surveying, reading drawings, QA/ITP familiarity, and clear communication within the site team. UK site experience and valid right to work are essential. Start date within 1 week; competitive rate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years UK construction experience.
• 4+ years experience on RC frame projects.
• Strong setting-out and surveying skills.
• Experience with reinforced concrete structures and related works.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Competent with relevant engineering/surveying equipment.
• Good understanding of QA, ITPs and site documentation.
• Strong communication skills within a site team.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works on the RC frame.
• Checking dimensions, levels and alignment.
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Liaising with subcontractors, site management and design teams.
• Monitoring quality and ensuring works meet specifications.

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major construction project in Norwich, working on a reinforced concrete frame package.

This is a 12-month position for an engineer with strong RC frame experience who can confidently manage engineering duties on site and work closely with the site management and construction teams.
