Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Site Engineer for a 12-month scheme in Bristol. You will be responsible for setting out the RC frame and groundworks, reporting to the Project Manager and foreman, and liaising with the main contractor site team.

Required are a CSCS card, experience in RC frame setting out and groundworks, and a civil engineering degree or time served. Temporary works management and design-query resolution are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience setting out RC frames and groundworks.
• CSCS card is required.
• Degree in civil engineering or time served in industry.

My client is a leading RC frame sub-contractor who are currently recruiting a Site Engineer to complete an 12 month scheme in Bristol.

You will be required to manage all the setting out of an RC frame and groundworks package.

• Reporting to and working with the Project Manager and foreman.
• Liaising with main contractor site team.
• Site set up and compliance with health and safety.
• Completing all setting out associated to the RC frame and groundworks package.
• Raising technical queries on design issues.
• Management of temporary works.
• CSCS card.
• Must have previous experience setting out RC frames and groundworks.
• Temporary works ticket.
• Degree in civil engineering/construction or time served
