Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking a Site Engineer for a six-month scheme in Manchester to lead setting out of RC frames and groundworks. You will work with the Project Manager and foreman, ensuring site setup and health and safety compliance, and manage all RC frame and groundworks setting out on the project.

Candidates should have a CSCS card, degree in civil engineering or time served, and a Temporary works ticket. Experience in RC frame setting out and groundworks is required.

Qualifications

• Must have previous setting-out experience for RC frames and groundworks.
• CSCS card holder required.
• Temporary works ticket is required.

Responsibilities

• Report to Project Manager and foreman, liaise with main contractor site team.
• Set up site and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Complete all setting out for RC frame and groundworks package.
• Raise technical queries on design issues and manage temporary works.

The Client and Project:

My client is a leading RC frame sub-contractor who are currently recruiting a Site Engineer to complete an 6 month scheme.

You will be required to manage all the setting out of an RC frame and groundworks package.

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

• Reporting to and working with the Project Manager and foreman.
• Liaising with main contractor site team.
• Site set up and compliance with health and safety.
• Completing all setting out associated to the RC frame and groundworks package.
• Raising technical queries on design issues.
• Management of temporary works.

Site Engineer Requirements:

• CSCS card.
• Must have previous experience setting out RC frames and groundworks.
• Temporary works ticket.
• Degree in civil engineering/construction or time served
