Job summary

Carmichael UK is seeking a Site Engineer for a major Heathrow Airport civils project, working night shifts to deliver setting out, surveying and QA on a live infrastructure site.

You will produce as-built records, manage permits, coordinate with subcontractors and site management, and ensure works meet specification while maintaining safety in an active airport environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on major civils or infrastructure projects
• Strong setting out experience using Leica or Trimble equipment
• Competent with AutoCAD and reading technical drawings
• Experience producing QA documentation and as-built records
• CSCS Card
• Ability to work permanent night shifts
• Heathrow experience advantageous but not essential

Site Engineer required for a major infrastructure project at Heathrow Airport.

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a long-term airside project working night shifts on a range of civil engineering and infrastructure works.

Role Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works on site
• Producing and maintaining as-built records
• QA documentation, ITPs and inspections
• Managing permits and ensuring compliance with site procedures
• Liaising with subcontractors and site management teams
• Monitoring progress and ensuring works are delivered to specification
