Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Site Engineer for a major infrastructure project in Tilbury on a long-term freelance basis. The role offers £450 per day for 10-hour days, with work secured through to at least April 2027.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Engineering experience.
• Highways experience is highly desirable.
• CSCS certification and Safety Critical Medical requirements.
• Highways Passport beneficial.
• EUSR beneficial but not essential.

Are you a Site Engineer looking for a long-term opportunity on one of the UK's major infrastructure projects?

We are currently recruiting 3 Site Engineers to work in Tilbury.

This is a long-term freelance opportunity running until at least April 2027, offering £450 per day for 10-hour days.

The Role

Working as part of the site engineering team, you will be responsible for:

• Setting out works accurately and efficiently
• Issuing permits and supporting site operations
• Working closely with the delivery team to ensure works are completed to programme and specification
• Maintaining high standards of quality and safety
• Supporting the wider engineering team across the project

We're looking for motivated and driven Site Engineers who are keen to get stuck in and play an active role on a major infrastructure scheme.
