Job summary

Bimplus in London is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support civil engineering projects across renewable energy schemes. You will set out using total station and GPS, supervise earthworks, duct installations, troughs and RC bases, and work closely with the project management team.

You will ensure health and safety compliance, correct documentation on site, and that works are completed on time and to specification in line with approved methodologies.

Qualifications

• Experience setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs and RC bases.
• Must have right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card holders preferred (SSSTS/SMSTS desirable).
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Setting out using total station & GPS for earthworks, ducting, troughs and RC bases.
• Collaborating with the project management team.
• Site supervision and daily on-site coordination.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance on site.
• Ensuring works follow approved methodology and complete on time and to specification.
• Maintaining on-site documentation and records.

I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who are currently looking to hire an experienced Site Engineer due to a number of new contracts being awarded. My client operates across the civils sector on renewable energy projects.

• Setting out using total station & GPS. Works include earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Working alongside the project management team.
• Site supervision.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed methodology and method.
• Ensuring the correct documentation is held on site.
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification.
• Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder (preferable)
• Full UK driving licence.
