Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is actively seeking an experienced Site Engineer for civil engineering projects in the renewables sector. The role involves setting out using total station and GPS, site supervision, and close collaboration with the project management team to ensure works are delivered to specification and on schedule.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on setting out experience for earthworks and RC bases, a CSCS card, and strong communication skills, with SSSTS/SMSTS preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Right to work in the UK and CSCS card required; SSSTS/SMSTS ticket preferred.

I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who are currently looking to hire an experienced Site Engineer due to a number of new contracts being awarded. My client operates across the civils sector on renewable energy projects.

Site Engineer responsibilities:

• Setting out using total station & GPS. Works include earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Working alongside the project management team.
• Site supervision.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed methodology and method.
• Ensuring the correct documentation is held on site.
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification.

Site Engineer requirements:

• Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder (preferable)
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills.
