Job summary

RTL Group Ltd in Huntingdon is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support civil and renewable energy projects. You will set out using total station and GPS, supervise earthworks, ducts, troughs and RC bases, and work with the project management team to keep activities on track.

The role requires CSCS, right to work in the UK, driving licence, and strong communication skills. SSSTS/SMSTS is preferable; the candidate should be able to manage documentation and coordinate on-site activities.

Qualifications

• Experience setting out earthworks, ducts, troughs and RC bases.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card required.
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder (preferable).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who are currently looking to hire an experienced Site Engineer due to a number of new contracts being awarded. My client operates across the civils sector on renewable energy projects.

Site Engineer responsibilities:

• Setting out using total station & GPS. Works include earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Working alongside the project management team.
• Site supervision.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed methodology and method.
• Ensuring the correct documentation is held on site.
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification.

Site Engineer requirements:

• Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card
