Search Consultancy is seeking a Site Engineer for North West projects in groundworks, residential housing and commercial build sectors. You will manage and deliver all on-site engineering, ensuring works are completed safely, accurately and to design specifications.

Projects include groundworks, new-build housing, infrastructure works, roads and drainage, and commercial schemes across the North West. Key duties: setting out for groundworks, roads and drainage; interpreting technical drawings;

Site Engineer - North West

The Site Engineer Role

The successful Site Engineer will be responsible for managing and delivering all engineering aspects of projects, ensuring works are completed safely, accurately, and in line with design specifications.

Projects will include a mix of groundworks packages, new-build housing developments, infrastructure works, roads and drainage, and commercial construction schemes throughout the North West region.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Setting out for groundworks, roads, drainage, foundations, and external works.
• Interpreting and working from technical drawings and specifications.
• Managing and maintaining accurate site records and as-built information.
• Conducting quality assurance checks and ensuring work is delivered to specification.
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and clients.
• Monitoring progress and identifying engineering solutions to site challenges.
