Scottish Borders Council invites applications for a Site Engineer with strong setting-out and surveying skills. The role supports SBc Contracts across civil and building projects, ensuring work aligns with design, safety, and programme requirements.

You will use Total Station/GNSS technology, interpret engineering drawings, and contribute to project records and O&M documentation. A current CSCS card and SMSTS are essential, with flexibility for sites and potential out-of-hours work.

Formación

• Experience using total station equipment for setting out construction works and site engineering.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.
• Baseline formal qualification in construction with recognised industry certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Set out and survey construction works on multiple sites to ensure accuracy.
• Interpret drawings and specifications; produce site sketches and technical information.
• Maintain accurate site records and assist in O&M file production.
