Job summary

Contract Scotland are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a newly mobilised cabling project in Scotland, near Carrick. You will work with a Graduate Engineer and provide engineering support to keep the works progressing.

The role involves setting out, surveying, checking drawings and maintaining records, with GPS surveying experience highly advantageous as GPS machine control is being introduced. Immediate start, approximately 5 months have been quoted.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Engineer in civil construction projects.
• GPS surveying experience is highly advantageous.
• Able to work independently on site with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Set out and survey works on site.
• Support delivery of approximately 5.5km of cabling works.
• Check works against drawings and specs.
• Maintain site measurements and records.
• Liaise with Site Manager and subcontractors.
• Provide guidance to Graduate Engineer on site.
• Ensure works are completed accurately and safely.
• Assist with quality control and regulatory compliance.
