Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London seeks an experienced Site Engineer for a major warehouse project in Corby. You will perform precise setting out, establish control points, levels and benchmarks, and interpret drawings to support construction activities on a busy site.

The role requires strong surveying skills on large-scale commercial projects, with the ability to work independently and liaise with management, subcontractors and other engineering teams while maintaining QA/QC records and health and safety

Qualifications

Site Engineer - Warehouse Project - Corby

We are currently seeking an experienced site engineer to join a major warehouse construction project in Corby.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out accurate setting out and surveying duties across the warehouse project.
• Establish and maintain control points, grids, levels and benchmarks.
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Provide technical support and ensure works are completed to the required tolerances.
• Liaise with site management, subcontractors and other engineering teams.
• Complete relevant quality and inspection records.
• Ensure all works comply with health and safety requirements.

Requirements

We are looking for a reliable and technically competent setting out engineer with previous experience working on large-scale commercial, industrial or warehouse projects. The ideal setting out engineer will have strong knowledge of construction surveying, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently on a busy site. Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction or Surveying are preferred, along with experience using surveying equipment such as Total Stations and GPS.
