Job summary

Advanced Site Engineering Surveys Ltd. is seeking a Senior Site Engineer/Surveyor based in London to lead setting out and surveying tasks on major sites across Greater London and surrounding counties.

Ideal candidates will have a Civil Engineering/Land Surveying degree or HND, a full UK driving license and CSCS card, and hands-on experience with robotic Total Station and GPS systems. You will work outdoors, manage multiple surveys, and contribute to project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in civil engineering surveying.
• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering/Land Surveying.
• Full UK driving license and CSCS card.
• Setting out with robotic Total Station and GPS surveying equipment.
• Experience in topographic and measured surveys.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to work outdoors.
• IT skills including MS Office and AutoCAD.

• Carry out setting out, as-built and topographical surveys on sites.
• Assist surveying tasks across Greater London and surrounding counties.

Job description

Senior Site Engineer/Surveyor

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Setting Out Site Engineer / Engineering Surveyor who is based in London has the ability to work in a dynamic environment to join our team.

The role will involve carrying out Engineering Surveying tasks, mainly Setting Out, As-Built Surveys and Topographical Surveys on various sites across Greater London and surrounding counties. The role involves daily commute to different site and therefore a driving license and own vehicle is a must.

The suitable Site Engineer would have completed a BTEC HND or a Degree in Civil Engineering/Land Surveying and has:

• A full clean UK driving license and white Surveyors or Engineers CSCS Card.
• Setting out experience using a robotic Total Station and GPS surveying equipment.
• Surveying experience carrying out topographic and measured surveys.
• An ability to work hard and learn to learn new skills, independently and unsupervised, as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and solve problems.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• IT experience, including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is a must.
• Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Excellent people, project and time management skills
• Point coding using N4CE (preferable).

The position is suitable for a Site Engineer who has a minimum 2 years experience within the civil engineering industry and looking to work in a wide ranging environment on some of the largest projects across the UK.
