Job description

An opportunity to work on a major, high-profile project in Somerset. Our contractor, who is synonymous with delivering earthworks and infrastructure projects across the South West is looking for a Site Engineer with experience in these fields.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working with GPS Machine Control, Total Station, and Quality Assurance (QA), as well as an extensive background working in Civil Engineering.

As Site Engineer you will:

• Have experience in Civil Engineering schemes.
• Be the main source of technical advice and quality control for everyone working on site.
• Provide leveling and surveying across the site, checking drawings and quantities and ensuring the accuracy of calculations.
• Have experience with GPS machine guidance/control, total station, and QA.

Our client requires a Site Engineer with:

• Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations, GPS, & QA.
• A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills.
• HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Understanding of AutoCAD
