Join Our Team as a Site Engineer at Kier Group

We are seeking a Site Engineer to join our KierBam JV project at Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth, Devon. KierBAM is a joint venture between Kier and Bam Nuttall, currently delivering redevelopment at a Royal Navy site.

Location: Site Based, Plymouth, Devon

Hours: Permanent, 45 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Assist in recording and testing workmanship and materials, such as drainage, concrete, piling, brickwork, etc.
• Provide engineering support to resolve technical issues and answer queries.
• Set out works within allowable tolerances.
• Regularly check setting out points, benchmarks, and calibration of measuring equipment.
• Maintain setting out and dimensional control to ensure accurate construction.

What We're Looking For

This role is ideal if you have:

• A degree in civil engineering or equivalent (e.g., BSc, BEng, Meng, Tech, etc.).
• Experience with Leica Survey equipment (GPS, Total Station, Levels).
• Previous experience in a similar role.

Due to security requirements, BPSS security clearance is necessary, which may take up to 8 weeks. Candidates must hold a passport from the EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, or MISWG, and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years.
