Job summary

Randstad Cpe London is seeking a Site Engineer PTS for a six-month contract in South West Wales (Milford Haven area). You will set out and control dimensions, monitor progress, and maintain a daily log of activities and changes. You will identify changes, manage material reconciliations, and update drawings to reflect revisions.

Ideal candidates hold HNC/HND/degree in Civil Engineering, a valid PTS, and a proven track record as a Site Engineer on rail or civil projects.

Qualifications

• HNC, HND or a Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• PTS certification or similar is essential.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on rail/civil projects.

Responsibilities

Site Engineer PTS

South West Wales

6 months contract

£450 per day inside IR35 + accommodation allowance

THE COMPANY

This contractor boasts an impressive track record of consistently delivering rail projects, ranging from landmark station refurbishments and platform extensions to signaling bases, depot remodeling, and bridge reconstructions.

THE ROLE

You will have the responsibility of setting out and controlling the dimensions of works, conducting take-offs, monitoring progress, and maintaining a daily log of activities, changes, and events. Additionally, you will need to identify and report any encountered changes, manage material reconciliations, update drawings/documents to reflect the latest revisions, uphold quality records as per Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and generate as-built drawings and records.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

To be selected for this exciting position you will have an HNC, HND or a Degree in Civil Engineering, a proven background as a Site Engineer and a valid PTS.
