Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Site Engineer for a prestigious rail framework in the North England. The role involves setting out and monitoring on site, ensuring quality and safety standards, and coordinating with the civil/rail environment on a long-term project.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree, 2+ years of civils/rail experience, and a valid PTS/CSCS card, with a Tier 1 background. UK work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

My client, a high profile civil engineering and construction tier 1 are currently looking for a Site Engineer for a prestigious rail framework in the North England.

The role is long term and the project includes civil's works within a railway environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Setting out and monitoring of works on site
• Conduct ITPs and some Work Package Plans
• Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with specification
• Operate and promote a high standard of health and safety and environment compliance
• Raising of technical queries
• Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications

Candidate Requirements:

• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent
• 2+ years experience working within either a civils or rail environment
• PTS/CSCS card
• Tier 1 background
