Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a Site Engineer for a prestigious rail framework in the North of England. You will be responsible for setting out and monitoring works on site, ensuring compliance with ITPs and work package plans, and maintaining high quality and safety standards on site.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree (or equivalent) and 2+ years' experience in civils or rail, with a PTS/CSCS card and a Tier 1 background. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• 2+ years experience in civils or rail environments.
• PTS/CSCS card required.
• Tier 1 background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and monitoring of works on site.

My client, a high profile civil engineering and construction tier 1 are currently looking for a Site Engineer for a prestigious rail framework in the North England.

The role is long term and the project includes civil's works within a railway environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Setting out and monitoring of works on site
• Conduct ITPs and some Work Package Plans
• Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with specification
• Operate and promote a high standard of health and safety and environment compliance
• Raising of technical queries
• Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications

Candidate Requirements:

• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent
• 2+ years experience working within either a civils or rail environment
• PTS/CSCS card
• Tier 1 background
