Job summary

Rullion Ltd seeks a Site Engineer for a permanent role near Portmadog, Wales. You will provide engineering and quality control for construction works and support the team to keep site compliance across health, safety and environmental requirements. This position is onsite, 40 hours per week, with a car allowance and benefits.

You should have 3+ years of site engineering experience, a relevant qualification (HNC/HND or degree), and familiarity with NEC contracts. Eligible UK workers only.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification (HNC/HND or degree) required.
• Minimum 3 years of site engineering experience.
• Knowledge of construction industry and standard techniques.
• Good understanding of NEC contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project team and subcontractors to meet health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of project specifications to ensure works comply with the spec.
• Produce permits, task briefs and documentation for works within responsibility.
• Develop temporary works solutions and ensure they are used and dismantled per approved designs.
• Undertake other duties as defined by IMS plan or Site Agent.

Job title: Site Engineer | Job Type: Permanent | Start date: Subject to clearance | Salary: £(phone number removed) PA + £4255 Car Allowance + Benefits | Location: Near Portmadog, Wales | Hours of work: 40 Hours Per Week - Onsite 5 days per week

The Role:

You will provide engineering and quality control for construction works including maintaining appropriate records. You will also support and assist others as required ensuring the project site remains compliant with requirements in all aspects.

Main Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Work in collaboration with the Project Team, including subcontractors, to ensure compliance with all legal, company and project health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the project specification, sufficient to ensure that all works within area of responsibility are compliant with specification.
• Produce, for approval by others, required permits, task briefs and other required documentation for works within the area of responsibility. Ensure that approved documentation is in place and fully briefed to all required persons prior to work within the area of responsibility.
• Contribute to the development of temporary works solutions. Support the TWC and Supervisors in ensuring that temporary works solutions are constructed, used and dismantled in accordance with approved designs and method statements.
• Undertake other duties as defined and appointed under the Project Specific IMS plan or as defined by the Site Agent.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Candidates ideally will hold relevant engineering qualification either HNC/HND or Degree
• Candidates will have a minimum of 3 years Site Engineering experience
• Knowledge of construction industry and standard construction techniques
• Good appreciation of commercial and contractual requirements (NEC Preferred)
