Job summary

Logical Personnel Solutions in Knottingley is seeking experienced Site Engineers to work on a construction project. You will handle day-to-day engineering on site, in partnership with the Site Manager and project team to deliver drawings, surveys, and quality checks.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a number of experienced Site Engineers to work on a construction project in Knottingley.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day engineering requirements on site, working alongside the Site Manager and wider project team.

Site Engineer duties will include:

• Setting out and surveying works on site
• Checking line, level and dimensions
• Working from construction drawings and specifications
• Carrying out quality checks and maintaining accurate site records
• Completing as-built surveys and associated documentation
• Liaising with Site Managers, subcontractors and other engineers
• Identifying and resolving technical issues on site
• Ensuring works are completed safely and in accordance with specifications

Site Engineer requirements:

• Must have own Kit
• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on UK construction projects
• Strong setting-out experience
• Experience using total station/GPS surveying equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good understanding of construction site health and safety
• Relevant engineering qualification or demonstrable industry experience
• Valid CSCS card
